If your deck is looking unsafe — old decking, rotted joists, or damaged posts — we can assess it and tell you exactly what's needed to bring it back to standard. It may only need new decking boards, but 9 times out of 10, if the decking is in poor condition, the joists will have rot damage too.
We only use hardwood joists for exterior decks. We prime the whole joist and install joist rubber to each one for added protection against moisture. All new decking is screwed down with stainless steel screws — so you'll never get boards popping up like you do with nails. The screws sit below the surface too, so if you ever need to re-sand the deck, you won't damage the boards pulling out old nails.
